School for Accelerated Learning and Technologies, Inc.
Charter High School

SALTech has recently transitioned thereby changing its name to reflect the new direction of the school. The Board of Directors (BOD) hosted the year-end celebration for the staff of SALTech Charter High School at the Hyatt Hotel on July 2nd.  It was the perfect ending to a year of outstanding success for the Board and staff.

The charter high school is located at 4751 Walgreen Road, 32209 in a newly renovated 50,0000 square foot facility on the northside.   SALTech Principal, Michael LaRoche, served as Master of Ceremonies. The faculty and staff presented him with an eagle: the school's new logo which is symbolic of the soaring heights on which the school is focused. Members of the staff were given accolades and congratulatory gifts for their outstanding service to students; Ms. Chandra Simmons was chosen as the employee of the year for the 2015-16.

Some unique characteristics of the Jacksonville SALTech campus include the ability to work at your own pace, the availability of Alternative Assessment for Exit Exams, and an upcoming TV Production curriculum.
